The Importance of Consistency in Conducting a Series of Dental Care

One day you visit the dentist because you have an irresistible toothache. After being examined, it turned out that your teeth were deeply infected down to the root canal. Finally, you agreed to do root canal treatment according to the dentist's suggestion. On the day of the first visit, the dentist numbs the nerves in your teeth first so that you don't feel any pain in the next series of treatments. The dentist recommends that you come back a few days later to do a root canal cleaning to remove the pulp in the root canal of your tooth that is already infected. However, because it turns out that your teeth don't hurt anymore, you decide to postpone or even cancel your second visit. This turned out to be bad for the condition of your teeth, why?

Why is regularly checking the condition of your teeth so important?

According to research conducted on adults who did not complete a series of dental treatments compared to adults who regularly visited the dentist, the results suggested that people who "dropped out" from dental care actually had poor dental health. In fact, if you don't continue to properly care for your teeth, the treatment at your first visit could be in vain because the damage to your teeth can continue.

Besides that, regularly checking and taking care of your teeth also not only makes your teeth and mouth healthy, but the overall health condition of your body also has an effect. You need to remember that the health condition of your teeth can also affect the health of other organs in your body, which means that if you have serious dental problems and are not treated thoroughly, it can endanger your health.
